Cell-free DNA in Embryo Culture Media as Non-invasive Biomarker of the Quality of Embryo Cleavage

چکیده

Background: The success of in vitro-fertilization (IVF) cycles is determined large part by the quality embryo cleavage, which turn, dependent on culture media (CM). Many factors can influence CM, one levels Cell Free Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Understanding association between Cell-free DNA CM and cleavage could help improve IVF techniques.
Methods: This prospective study was conducted with 96 spent from patients undergoing cycle, order to determine relationships day 3. After intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), 48 embryos were evaluated 3 their development, according cell number. Day 2 corresponding each analyzed, quantitative PCR, for estimation levels.
 Results: results revealed a significant increase 4 6 compared those 7 8 (p=0.04). As showed no difference Cell-Free 7-8 4-6 (p=0.4). Also, free significantly higher both (p=0.03; p=0.04).
Conclusion: We conclude that cell-free might be associated delayed cleavage.

Non‐Invasive Assessment of the Embryo Viability via the Analysis of the Culture Media

Infertility in recent years is a growing public health issue throughout the developed world. Assisted reproductive techniques, especially in vitro fertilization, have the poten‐ tial to partially overcome the low natural reproductive ratio. Nowadays, single embryo transfer gains grounds in clinical practice, urging the development of more reliable methods for selecting the best embryo. In the t...

Mitochondrial DNA in Day 3 embryo culture medium is a novel, non-invasive biomarker of blastocyst potential and implantation outcome.

In assisted reproduction technology, embryo competence is routinely evaluated on morphological criteria. Over the last decade, efforts in improving non-invasive embryo assessment have looked into the secretome of embryos. Human embryos release genomic DNA (gDNA) and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) into the culture medium, and the mtDNA/gDNA ratio is significantly correlated with embryo fragmentation....

The effects of dimethyl sulfoxide and ethylene glycol as vitrification protectants on different cleavage stages of mouse embryo quality

The effect of modified vitrification was assessed on cellular development capability in mouse embryos cultured in vitro. In this study, 466 embryos (from zygote to morula stages) were vitrified then thawed embryos have been incubated for in vitro farther development up to blastocyst stage. Also, vitrification and thawing procedures were the same for all experimental groups. Mouse different embr...

I-38: Chromosome Instability in The Cleavage Stage Embryo

Recently, we demonstrated chromosome instability (CIN) in human cleavage stage embryogenesis following in vitro fertilization (IVF). CIN not necessarily undermines normal human development (i.e. when remaining normal diploid blastomeres develop the embryo proper), however it can spark a spectrum of conditions, including loss of conception, genetic disease and genetic variation development. To s...
